Troubleshoot common failures
Choose a symptom and recover without deleting unrelated league data.
Command missing or interaction failed
Confirm you are in the league server and using a currently registered command from this library. A deployed command still needs Discord registration to appear. Platform-only commands may intentionally be unavailable to GMs.
For Interaction failed or an expired button, reopen the newest live card and try the relevant read-only view first. Verify whether the original action already saved before repeating a trade decision, purchase, grant, or reset. If it persists, report the command/button, league, timestamp and exact text.
Wrong team or missing staff tools
Check /team view, the active-team switcher, the signed-in Discord account and /league staff list. Discord role mappings and application staff membership are not interchangeable. Ask staff to correct the saved assignment or role before changing broad server permissions.
Blank roster or wrong player team
Check the latest roster coverage and the specific matchup selected in the form. Have staff refresh Madden and read any export warnings. Reload older browser sessions after a deployment. A correct name in the picker is not enough if the submitted matchup changed or the roster belongs to another league.
Missing room, card or notification
Use /league checkup for permissions, /league refresh for stale cards, /league repair for missing resources, and /week create-rooms for missing current/next rooms. Check whether game-channel creation is paused. Missing schedule data must be fixed before real matchups can be created.
Pending rewards, tickets, trades or media
Read the workflow's current state. A trade may await committee approval or Madden moves; a ticket may await final/stats and review; an upgrade may await another staff reviewer; media may await an allowance, verified photo, provider result or publication approval.
If the reason is still unclear, preserve the record identifier and ask for targeted review. Resetting the league discards useful context and does not resolve a provider request or missing stat sample.
