Control media automation and recover jobs

Understand draft, generating, ready, published, failed and review states before spending again.

Read the readiness panel first

Media Center shows the active allowance source, expiry, reserved and remaining credits, the last automatic check and blockers. A valid owner allowance remains usable while an unfinished subscription checkout is pending. Raising a league allowance does not change the separate platform spending cap.

Free reference downloads and collection of an existing provider result retry after five minutes. An expired or invalid job that has not been submitted is canceled and releases its reservation. An uncertain paid submission keeps its reservation and requires review; it is never automatically charged again. Already-paid results can finish while new AI spending is paused.

Set generation and review separately

GOTW, Player Picks and News each have Automatic generation and Review before posting controls. Auto on with review off generates and posts; auto on with review on holds the result for approval; auto off leaves that type manual. An active allowance, enabled media and platform AI availability are still required.

Turning automation off stops future automated work; already submitted provider jobs may still finish. Review settings do not prevent an explicit manual publish action. Automatic Player Picks still needs valid player stats or prepared manual lines.

Automatic photos need no approval

When GOTW or Player Picks automatic generation is on, its matched photos are used without asking you to confirm them—even when Review before posting is on. That review setting applies to the finished post, not player photos. Existing eligible current-week drafts are picked up on the next automatic preparation cycle, which runs about every 15 minutes.

Missing or invalid photo matches still need a different player or correct mapping. Automatic generation does not invent a portrait match. Old-week drafts, archived items, regenerations and uncertain paid attempts are not automatically released by enabling this setting.

Read the job state

DRAFT is a prepared brief. QUEUED/SUBMITTING/POLLING means generation is underway. READY means there is a preview to inspect. PUBLISHING is in-flight delivery. PUBLISHED is posted content. FAILED or REVIEW needs the displayed error and recovery path checked before starting another paid attempt.

Recover is for a saved provider request or result. If delivery is uncertain, check Discord for duplicates before recovery. Do not repeatedly press Generate or Try again to work around an uncertain request.

Finish an incomplete Player Picks draft

Needs input means the draft has no valid lines for both players. Open Edit players & lines, choose the players and enter both manual half-point lines, then Save Player Picks draft. The editor loads the saved selections. Generate becomes available after the draft has valid lines and any required photo confirmations.

A published GOTW fixes the weekly matchup and shared reward rules, but it does not lock an unpaid Player Picks draft. You can change those players and lines until that graphic starts generating. Automatic generation preserves valid saved manual lines; it waits without spending when stats are insufficient.

Archive and regenerate deliberately

Archive hides supported media from the main preview list; published posts, predictions, rewards and spending history remain. Saving an unpaid archived draft from the creation form restores and updates that same draft. Automation never restores hidden drafts. Paid or published graphics link to the existing item instead of offering another free draft. Regeneration is another image attempt, not an undo of the original purchase.

Automatic news has a per-Madden-week limit of 0–10. Failed, archived and already published automatic assignments still count; archiving does not reset the quota. Zero pauses automatic news. Manual news is a separate workflow.
