Reset safely and choose a smaller repair
Understand exactly what a matchup reset, week reset, channel removal, or league teardown affects.
Choose the scope
Use refresh for a stale card, repair for a missing managed resource, create-rooms for missing matchup channels, and a single-matchup reset for scheduling responses that should be cleared. A league reset is not a fix for expired EA authorization, a missing team export, or a new season.
- Identify whether the problem is imported data, saved scheduling state, a Discord resource, or access.
- Choose the smallest tool affecting that layer.
- Read the preview or confirmation, including which channels and responses will be removed.
- Verify saved data and Discord output separately after the operation.
Full league reset
/league reset opens a protected teardown workflow. Run it from an ordinary server channel, not one the bot manages. It requires the exact displayed typed confirmation.
Managed Discord resources and assignments are cleaned up according to the setup mode. Adopted migration resources have different preservation rules from new-server managed resources. The active league is detached and its backup export URL invalidated; old league data and raw imports remain in an archived form. Incomplete Discord cleanup stops detachment.
A preserved database archive does not restore deleted Discord conversation history. Read the current preview rather than assuming all server resources are disposable.
