Assign, replace, and switch GMs
Keep saved team ownership, room access, and scheduling state consistent.
Assign or replace a GM
Use /team assign with the Discord user and NFL team. Review the resulting ownership, role, nickname and room-access report. A warning about a nickname or role is different from failure to save the ownership record.
- Check
/team listbefore the change. - Assign the intended member and team.
- Verify the new GM with
/team viewand the dashboard. - Review the affected matchup room. Reset its scheduling if the previous GM's availability or agreement should no longer apply.
/team listOpen a team or manage several assignments
Use /team unassign to remove an assignment. If the member controls more than one team, identify the specific NFL team. Members with several assigned teams use /team switch or the dashboard switcher to select an active team.
Changes to ownership can invalidate time proposals or affect Casino markets and trade-review eligibility. Inspect affected workflows after the reassignment; do not reuse the former GM's approval or check-in as proof that the new GM participated.
