Configure and review trade voting
Manage the committee, choose the threshold, and understand revisions, vetoes, and stalled votes.
Set the voting rule
Assign Trade Committee access with /league staff assign. Committee membership is separate from a GM's team and from general staff privileges. Use /settings trade-voting or the commissioner's Trade committee voting section to choose majority or first-to-X.
- Review eligible committee membership.
- Choose majority, or a fixed first-to target from 1–100.
- Verify
/settings viewand inspect any already pending trades, because rule or membership changes recalculate those decisions.
/settings viewCount eligible votes correctly
Majority means more than half of all eligible committee members, not just the people who have voted. Reviewers who control either team are excluded. Only votes for the current offer revision count.
First-to uses the exact configured target for approval and denial. A target larger than the eligible committee stays pending and warns; the bot does not lower it automatically. Removing a reviewer discards their pending ballots; re-adding them requires a fresh vote.
Handle decisions and notifications
Changing rules recalculates pending trades; it does not reopen already approved, denied, withdrawn or completed history. A commissioner veto with a reason remains available until Madden confirms completion.
The first approval card mentions the managed Trade Committee role once. Later refreshes and votes do not repeatedly ping it. If notifications fail, inspect mention permissions and role mentionability before changing the saved voting decision.
If lowering a threshold makes both sides qualify, the earlier qualifying ballot wins. An exact timestamp tie remains pending for further review rather than automatically approving.
