Negotiate and complete a trade
Build a package, get the other GM's acceptance, pass review, and verify the Madden moves.
Build the trade
A private trade table is scoped to the participating teams. Select your active team before starting. Both GMs can build the package from their latest imported rosters and supported assets.
- Run
/trade startand choose the partner team. - Use the live table controls to add or remove assets on both sides.
- Review values, contracts and any roster or eligibility warnings.
- Propose the package. The other GM accepts or continues negotiating.
- After acceptance, wait for the approval channel or committee decision.
- Once approved, make the actual trade in Madden.
- Refresh Madden and verify the table becomes completed when the required player moves are confirmed.
/trade listDo not confuse accepted, approved and completed
Acceptance means the two GMs agreed to that offer revision. Approval means the league's review threshold or authorized decision accepted it. Completion means synchronized Madden data confirms the required moves. A value calculation alone is none of these decisions.
Changing a package changes the reviewed revision. Do not assume ballots or acceptance for an earlier offer authorize a modified package. Use the current live card to see the state.
Recover a missing or duplicate table
Use /trade list and /trade view to find the real negotiation. /trade refresh recalculates values and refreshes active cards. Staff can use /trade cleanup-duplicates with an explicitly selected table to keep; that is a cleanup tool with confirmation, not the normal way to withdraw a trade.
