Join a league and claim a team

Read the team directory #

/team open lists unassigned teams. /team list shows all teams with their GM's server name and username as readable text. These names do not depend on Discord resolving a clickable user mention.

If a GM's name is temporarily unavailable, run the command again later. A missing name does not make the team open. If the list says the GM is no longer in the server, staff should check that member and the saved assignment before reassigning the team. Run the command again to get a new list; older Discord messages retain their original text.

Get assigned #

Your league's claim mode decides what happens in the team-claim channel. Open claiming assigns the available team; request mode sends staff a request; commissioner-only mode requires staff to assign you. A team reaction is not always an immediate assignment.

1. Join the correct Discord server and check /team open.
2. Follow that server's team-claim panel. If approval is required, wait for staff to review it.
3. Run /team view and /team list to verify your current team.
4. Run /timezone set before entering availability.

When you control more than one team #

A commissioner can assign multiple teams to one identity. Use /team switch or the dashboard's active-team switcher to select which assigned team your next action controls. Recheck the active team before trading, scheduling, or requesting an upgrade.

An assignment does not grant commissioner powers. Team roles and nicknames may update automatically, but Discord role hierarchy can prevent those cosmetic changes even when ownership was saved.

If the dashboard cannot find your league #

Use /dashboard in the correct server. Confirm the website is signed into the same Discord account. Ask staff to verify your membership and team assignment. Switching Discord accounts requires signing out or using the account-switch control; refreshing a wrong-account session will not change its identity.
